EVERYDAY MAKEUP ROUTINE
I would consider my go-to makeup routine fairly minimal but does the trick for me. As a makeup artist, I’ve learned many tricks over the years and I can definitely spend hours getting someone else ready for their special events. That being said, I don’t find the same pleasure in taking hours to get myself ready. I prefer quick and easy techniques that I can do daily that don’t take too much time.
These are the essentials I use for my everyday makeup:
Concealer- Makeup Forever Full Coverage - #6
Powder- Vasanti Face Base Powder #V2
Contour- MAC- Swiss Chocolate
Blush- MAC- Desert Rose
Eyeliner- Makeup Forever Ink Liner - Black
Waterline - L’oreal Infallibile - Intense Black
Mascara- Lancome Monsieur Big Black
Lipliner- MAC - Whirl
Lipstick- Jouer Blush
Quick Everyday Makeup Tutorial
Step 1: Apply concealer under the eyes. I like to use my ring finger to apply instead of a brush because the heat from your fingertip helps warm up and blend the concealer.
Step 2: Using a kabuki brush, I apply the pressed powder in a circular motion and continue that motion all over the face, I keep the under eyes for last and don’t apply extra product when blending on top of concealer.
Step 3: With a small blush brush, apply small amount of contour to the hollows of the cheeks and sides of the nose.
Step 4: Dust the apples of the cheeks with blush.
Step 5: Apply pencil eyeliner to waterline and tight line.
Step 6: Continue with eyeliner and mascara.
Step 7: Liner lips and apply long lasting liquid lipstick.
