STYLING FOR CHRISTMAS

STYLING FOR CHRISTMAS

This year, not only did I get to style my own home but I also had the honor of styling a gorgeous condo in downtown Vancouver. This condo recently went through a complete renovation and I have to say the final look is phenomenal. I was blessed to have such a beautiful canvas to work on. Additionally, the owners had great ideas and together we collaborated to turn this space into a vision right out of a magazine.

We did a lot of local sourcing and found some amazing holiday pieces. Most items were found from; The Cross Design, Wayfair and Crate and Barrel.

Personally, I find the best way to start a project like this is to find one or two statement pieces and then build your design around them.

In this case we took a lot of inspiration from the aesthetic of the condo itself. Using the bright whites and golds was a great starting point.

When working with smaller spaces you need to keep practicality in mind. You don’t want to take up too much living space or make the space feel crowded. In this case, we chose two main areas to decorate (the family room for the tree and the dining area for the table setting)

After completing the main areas we then went on to spread a little christmas spirit throughout the entire space.

  • Shelves

I would like to thank the owners for trusting me to turn their beautiful home into a whimsical winter wonderland.
