BABY NURSERY
Things have definitely changed since I had my oldest son in 2011. When looking for toys, clothes or decor, it was common to only find a lot of zoo animals and other colorful designs.
Since then I’ve seen a shift in the options for parents with young children, that you don’t have to sacrifice style of your home for your baby.
When I had my son last year I was so excited that I would get to experience this trend of modern, clean and neutral colors.
This is why I decided to go with a black and gold geometric theme for his room.
The options were so open, I pretty much designed his room as I would any other room in my house. I shopped at homesense, micheals, and chapters and was able to furnish his room exactly how I invisioned it.
I had so much fun designing his room, from all the little accents to the vinyl gold triangles on the walls. My favorite part still has to be his tiny little impressions framed at the entrance of his room. A reminder of how small he used to be everytime I enter his room is everything.
